Welcome to Extending The Season!

Extending The Season is a project that aims to develop and extend the tourist season in the Derbyshire Dales, High Peak, Staffordshire Moorlands and East Staffordshire.

The name, Extending the Season, incorporates all good things food and drink! This means we strive to develop and promote local food products and their supply chains, as well as boosting business for local suppliers by organising off-season showcase food and drink events as well as food and ale trails.

It’s nice to see you here, and we hope you will join us in our efforts to extend the tourist season in the heart of the Peak District.

Extending the Season project which has been supported through LEADER in the Peak District Rural Action Zone, part of the Rural Development Programme for England, which is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union, and is delivered by Derbyshire Economic Partnership (DEP).
